Nino is a Southern Italian waiter who goes to Switzerland to try out for a restaurant job and tries desperately to fit in. However he finds himself having to deal with an impossible situation. It’s not that the Swiss set out to be unfriendly; it’s that much of their behavior and that of the Italians are incompatible..and that’s what’s both funny and sad.
