A group of passionately engaged musicians, centered around conductor Antonio Pappano, an Anglo-Italian who gets an unusual amount of life, and loyalty, from the mostly young musicians, inspired by his approach to making old music sound new. As often happens, the rehearsals are even more exciting than opening night.
