Back from the hospital, after a heart attack, Lorenzo meets Michela—a charming young woman, who has just moved to the facing apartment. Cynical and grumpy Lorenzo, who has been estranged from the rest of the world,mellows under Michela’s charm. He becomes friends, not only with her, but also with her deeply troubled husband and their two children.
