Salvo and Valentino, unemployed for two years, decide to leave their beloved adopted hometown of Palermo and move back to their tiny Sicilian village. The village is now populated primarily by the elderly living off their pensions. Salvo comes up with the bright idea of making ends meet by having all their elderly relatives move in with them, but they have a surprise in store.
